Steward Auction Service Terms & Conditions
1. As-Is, Where-Is: All items are sold as-is, where-is with no warranties implied.
2. Payment Methods: Payment can be made by cash or credit card. Credit cards will be run immediately after the auction unless the buyer is a cash payer at pickup.
3. Buyer's Premium: A 15% buyer's premium applies to all items sold.
4. Removal of Items: Buyers are responsible for removing their items. If there are any damages to the property during removal due to negligence, the buyer will be responsible for repairs. BRING YOUR OWN BOXES!
5. Heavy Items: If you purchase heavy items, bring help for loading. Steward Auction Service is not responsible for assisting with loading.
6. Internet & Platform Issues: If the internet or auction platform crashes, all bids remain as they are and the auction will resume from that point.
7. Credit Card Declines: If a credit card is declined once, a $20 service fee applies. If it’s declined twice, there is another $20 fee and the buyer may be barred from future auctions.
8. No Refunds or Returns: Absolutely no refunds, returns, or chargebacks on credit card transactions.
9. Binding Contract: Once the auction closes, all sales are final and constitute a binding contract. No bid retractions are allowed unless you contact Steward Auction Service directly.
10. No Liability for Accidents: Steward Auction Service is not responsible for any accidents or injuries before, during, or after item removal.
11. Address Matching for Shipping: If shipping is allowed, the billing and shipping addresses must match. Otherwise, the item will not be shipped.
12. Final Discretion: Steward Auction Service reserves the right to make final decisions on any disputes that arise.
*** Vehicles or titled items on wheels and their titles will be held until full payment is received and confirmed. The purchaser shall not take possession until payment has been verified. Accepted forms of payment for any vehicles or titled items on wheels are wire transfer, cash, or certified cashier’s check only.***
