**Terms & Conditions**
**1. Everything Sold AS IS, WHERE IS:**
All items are sold **AS IS, WHERE IS** with no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied. **All sales are final.** Failure to attend the open house or schedule an in-person preview constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the **AS IS, WHERE IS** condition, as if the items were previewed in person.
**2. Bidding & Tie Bids:**
Items are sold to the **highest bidder.** In the event of a tie bid, the lot will be awarded to the bidder who placed that bid first.
**3. Ownership & Removal:**
The highest bidder assumes **full ownership and liability** of the item immediately upon auction close. Items must be removed within the posted removal times.
**BUYER MUST BRING THEIR OWN HELP WITH MANPOWER, TOOLS, AND MOVING EQUIPMENT** to remove purchases. Any property damage caused during removal must be repaired by the buyer. *(We understand removal is not perfect, but negligence and improper removal will not be tolerated.)*
**4. Buyer’s Premium & Payment:**
A **15% Buyer’s Premium** applies to **all sales.**
Credit cards will be charged immediately after the auction unless you have registered as a cash buyer. **Valid ID is required at all checkouts** (cash or card).
**5. No Refunds or Chargebacks:**
All sales are **FINAL.** No refunds, returns, or chargebacks will be accepted. Non-payment or refusal to pay will be treated as a **breach of contract.**
**6. Legal Agreement:**
By bidding in this auction, you agree to all posted terms and conditions. Placing a bid is a **legally binding contract** and bids may not be retracted except by **Steward Auction Service.**
**7. Technology Disclaimer:**
We are **not responsible** for internet outages, platform crashes, or technical issues (including **Hibid** or related entities). If the internet fails, you are still responsible for any bids you placed and any winning bids.
**8. Safety Disclaimer:**
**Steward Auction Service is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS**, whether medical or item-related, before, during, or after removal. **Be safe.**
**9. Photos & Lot Descriptions:**
Some lots may use the same stock photos (e.g., measuring sticks, folding tables). There may be slight color variations, but all items are of acceptable quality. **Bid with confidence.**
**10. Shipping Policy:**
If shipping is properly requested, **the billing/physical address MUST match the shipping address — NO exceptions.**
Shipping is available on **select items only** and **must be arranged BEFORE the auction starts.**
