Over 500 lots of automobiles, parts, collectables, tools, household, decor, snowmobiles and more. Most items are barn finds and are being sold as found.
The Red Barn located behind the Rousseau Bar on Penegor Road was originally built by the Penegor Family. They had dairy cows, horses and farmed the land for hay. The barn currently sits on 7 acres, but it is assumed there was a larger land holding than the current property. The barn has 3 bays, with the first and the third having a 2nd floor. The second bay has a walk through with floor to ceiling doors on both sides. Access to the upper level of Bay 1 is by ladder, but the farther end has ramp access.
In between it's down time from farming the 6th owners of the Rousseau Bar purchased the barn. Maurie and Sophie were an eclectic pair of proprietors and Maurie was an antique car collector. He had stored numerous cars in the barn and did so even on the second floor of east side of the barn where they used to store all the loose hay for feeding the cattle. At one time (based on certificates of insurance), he had over 25 cars in the barn. Many were sold after their sale of the Rousseau Bar in the mid 90s.
After Maurie's passing, a collector of many things, John Faccin, purchased the barn. He brought in more car parts and other "treasures" that are now going up for auction.
In February of 2025, Angie purchased the barn and is ready to share with you on September 6th, 2025, the opportunity for you to take a treasure or more home with you in planning for the Red Barn's Future opportunities.
Automobiles will sell towards the end of the auction. Bring your favorite chair and spend the day with us as we sell some unique pieces of history. Food and beverages available.
This is a live auction with online pre-bidding. Online bidding will begin Monday, September 1, 2025 at 8:00 AM ET and close Friday, September 5, 2025 at 5:00 PM ET. All online bids will be brought to the live auction September 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM ET. Clerks will bid on behalf of online bidders, so be sure you have entered your maximum bid. Successful online bidders will be contacted by staff on September 6 or 7.
