Kyle Kelso Auctioneer is honored to present the personal property auction of Gerry and the Late Earl Sims. Earl spent over 30 years in the local grain elevator business, building a strong reputation in the agricultural community. Together, Gerry and Earl were passionate collectors of local ag-related advertising and general antiques. Gerry has made the decision to move from her country home, she will be offering the entire collection of personal property at public ONLINE ONLY auction. This will include a wide range of vintage advertising items, seed corn signs, feed and ag product signage, local business memorabilia, and much more — all with ties to McDonough County. This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of local history and celebrate the legacy of two lifelong residents who treasured their community. This online only auction will take place on Wednesday October 8th, 2025 at 6:00pm. Pick up for this auction will be the following day, Oct. 9th from 12:00 noon to 4:30pm. There will be NO alternate pick up times for this sale.
Pick up will be Thurs Oct 9th 12:00pm-5:00pm . There are NO alternate pick up dates. Pick up will be at 1245 N 600th Rd Macomb IL. Please pickup your items during the pickup times. There are NO other pick up times. If you are an out of state buyer and you are not able to make the pick up time PLEASE call ahead to set a time before bidding on this auction. If the NO shipping icon is on in the upper right hand corner of the lot then NO Shipping is offered on that lot! Please be aware of this! NOTE- If you do not pickup your items during the listed pickup times you will forfeit them, unless you have spoken to the auction co.
