Online auction of a personal collection located in Scottsville, NY. The collection includes a 1997 Ford Truck, a Farmall Cub tractor, railroad lanterns, many primitives, cast iron bells and other pieces, older wood-working tools, collectible kitchenware, cowbells, metal toys, Boy Scout memorabilia, Christmas items, decorations and much more. *LOTS 99A AND 99B ARE LOCATED IN BATAVIA, NY AND WILL BE PICKED UP THERE. IF YOU WILL REQUIRE A LOADER PICK-UP FOR THESE 2 ITEMS WILL BE SATURDAY, JANUARY 28TH, 8 AM - 1PM PREVIEW: There is no live preview for this auction. Some items may have damage and are sold as-is. MERCHANDISE PICK UP LOCATION/DATE: Scottsville, NY on Friday, January 27th, 8 am - 3 pm by appointment only. Address will be shown to bidders when they confirm their appointment. LOTS 99A AND 99B ARE LOCATED IN BATAVIA, NY AND WILL BE PICKED UP AT OUR AUCTION CENTER. IF YOU WILL REQUIRE A LOADER PICK-UP FOR THESE 2 ITEMS WILL BE SATURDAY, JANUARY 28TH, 8 AM - 1PM SHIPPING: There is a transportation charge to move items from the auction sites in the area to our auction center: $40 per man hour prorated on size/volume/time. Judgment of “size” of a lot is at the discretion of the auction company. (Small lots such as coins and jewelry may be prorated based on time. Size of the lot is at the discretion of the auction company.) Shipping is available on select items only. We do not automatically ship every lot. If there is no info in the lot description about shipping, the bidder must contact the auction company to ask if we will ship a specific item by clicking the “contact auctioneer” button located below the item description, calling our office at 585-343-4529 or emailing bontrager@bontragerauction.com prior to bidding on it. We ship only to the US and Canada. We do not ship to PO Boxes. We are unable to overnight express packages. We do not ship ammunition. Firearms are shipped only to Federal Firearms Licensees. Most packaging and shipping will take place in-house, but items we deem as fragile (glass, lamps, etc.) will be taken to UPS for professional packaging at buyer’s expense. Buyer pays shipping, insurance, signature confirmation and handling fee- these fees are not negotiable. (Handling fees depend on materials/time required). We do not provide shipping estimates prior to the close of the auction. Bidders who do not contact us ahead of time to confirm shipping or deem shipping too expensive and then abandon their purchase are still responsible for payment. In the event that Bontrager Auction agrees to ship an item after the auction closes, including but not limited to items that were described in the auction with “no shipping”, Bontrager Auction will not be responsible for damages from any part of the packing or shipping process, nor will Bontrager Auction submit an insurance claim or refund on behalf of the buyer. If we agree to take lots to UPS for professional packaging, there is a $20 charge for transporting. There is a $50 charge to retrieve lots from UPS if the buyer decides their shipping cost to be too expensive. Note: Our auction software is used to determine the best shipping price because it allows us to compare prices and provide a discount. If the credit/debit card you have on file with Hibid.com isn't working, we are unable to do that and you'll be charged a higher rate.> PAYMENT: At the close of the auction all payments will automatically be charged to the buyer's credit/debit card used at registration. MERCHANDISE PICK UP PROCEDURE: -Bring your own copy (paper or electronic) of your receipt. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure all items are loaded and in expected condition. Once the item leaves the premises, there will be no exchanges, returns, or refunds. -Customers will be assisted by appointment times for pickup. Sometimes it will be necessary for customers to enter the building to remove merchandise. The number of people in the building will be limited (by appointment time). -Come prepared to remove your items and bring any assistance or tools needed. Buyers who have bought large lots should make early appointments to allow for the time needed to load. FAILURE TO PICK UP ON DESIGNATED DATE/TIME: -If you are unable to pick up on the scheduled date, please send someone in your place or kindly refrain from bidding in this auction. Lots left at the dispersal site without any prior arrangements made will be disposed of and no refunds will be provided to the customer. We are unable to accommodate multiple dates for pickup. We charge a fee to move items at the auction site or to our auction center for a different pick up time to recoup our staff time/resources: $40 per man hour prorated on size/volume/time.
