TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. How Do I Bid
All bidding will take place at Hibid.com, through jerseyontario.hibid.com. You simply need to join Hibid.com and have a method of payment on file to get approved to bid. If you have already been approved to bid from a previous Hibid.com auction there is no need to get approved again. It is best go directly to https://jerseyontario.hibid.com/ to register.
2. Bids are in Canadian Dollars
All bids in the 2024 Tank Topper Sale, On-line, on-time auction and payments will be in Canadian dollars.
3. Auction Ends with a Soft Close
Online auctions will end one at a time in lot order starting at 12:00 noon EST, Saturday,September 14th, 2024. End time will extend if a bid is placed within the last two minutes of the consignment auction.
4. Proxy Bidding
To place a proxy bid, type your maximum bid amount and click the bid button, your maximum bid is concealed and bids will be automatically placed only when another bidder places a bid. Bids will only increase by the minimum increments. In the event of a tie bid the winner will be the first bidder who placed the amount.
5. Terms of Sale
Hibid.com member who places the winning bid in an auction is in a binding contract, assumes ownership at the auction end time, and is required to make payment in full unless pre-approved terms have been established in writing. No cattle will leave a seller's premise without payment in full.
6. Payment
Ontario buyers may pay by cheque, direct payment or etransfer to "Jersey Ontario".
Buyers outside of Ontario are required to make payment by credit card or wire transfer in Canadian dollars.
7. Trucking
Trucking is the responsibility of the buyer. Jersey Ontario can assist with coordination of trucking. No cattle will leave the seller's premise until payment is made in full and funds have cleared.
