Boy, oh boy did we try. The demand was crazy. The amount of merchandise was crazier. The prices being so low was the craziest.
This weekend we have to come back and finish up the Sample Liquidation Auction. We made promises to the consigners that we would clear out their product. This weekend we make good on that promise!

HPMKT is known as the world's premier home furnishings event, is a biannual gathering that takes place in High Point, North Carolina. It is the largest home furnishings industry trade show in the world, attracting around 75,000 attendees, including buyers, interior designers, manufacturers, and sellers from over 100 countries. The market covers an extensive range of products including furniture, accessories, lighting, art, and more, showcasing the latest trends and innovations in the home furnishings industry.
It features thousands of exhibitors spread out over 11.5 million square feet of showroom space across multiple buildings and complexes in the High Point area. The event is not open to the general public, catering instead to professionals within the furniture industry, including retailers, buyers, designers, and architects, who come to source new products, get inspiration, and spot future trends.
Why Are They Selling At Auction?
The nature of HPMKT is that the majority of these exhibitors do not reside in High Point full time. They rent their space for market, bring in their merchandise, set-up, then remove their goods and ship their showrooms back home. This is not cost effective for the vendors. So Furniture Market Auctions along with The IMS High Point offer a unique solution that allows them to move their samples at our facility at the end of Market at which point we will offer them for sale to the public via auction.
