You can still view all of the items here at the auction house prior to the Friday night Live Auction beginning on April 22nd during business hours. Absentee bids can be left at the auction house, called in by telephone or via email. All bidders must register with the Chesapeake Auction House and give full identifications to bid including a valid credit card. 2. Full payment is due on completion of sale. All Sales are Final…. NO EXCEPTIONS! 3. Payment is accepted in the form of Cash, Master Charge, Visa, or Discover Card. 4. All purchases must be paid in full before any merchandise can be removed from the premises. 5. All items must be removed within one week of the close of the auction, unless prior arrangements have been made with the auction company. Buyers assume responsibility for any/all shipping arrangements. Shipping is available with a shipping and handling fee. Contact us for a quote. Merchandise left after that time will be considered abandoned and may be resold without notice. Your credit card will be charged for all purchases whether removed or not…. NO EXCEPTIONS! 6. There will be a 13% Buyers Premium added to the purchase price of each lot sold. Chesapeake Auction House is required by Maryland law to charge state sales tax of 6%. Any bidder wishing to use a tax resale number must have a resale number on file prior to the auction. 7. Chesapeake Auction House takes great care in the description and representation of all items, but these items are offered "as is" and "where is". The auctioneer and seller make no representation or warranty expressed or implied as to the merchantability, correctness, description, fitness or condition.
