Auction Terms & Conditions
Registration
All bidders must register through HiBid and provide a valid credit card. By registering to bid, bidders acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions of this auction.
The auction company reserves the right to approve, reject, or revoke bidder registration at its sole discretion.
Handling Fee
For every invoice, there is a $15 handling fee FYI.
Buyer's Premium
A 15% buyer’s premium will be added to the final bid price of each item.
Payment
Accepted payment methods:
• Credit card on file with HiBid
• Cash at pickup (only if approved prior to the auction closing)
Credit cards on file may be automatically charged within 24 hours of the auction closing.
If a bidder prefers to pay cash at pickup, they must notify the auction company before the auction closes and receive approval. Otherwise, the credit card on file will be charged.
Invoices totaling $5,000 or more may require payment by wire transfer, cashier’s check, or cash at the auction company's discretion.
Items will not be released until payment has been received in full.
As-Is / Where-Is
All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.
Descriptions, photographs, and item information are provided as a courtesy and are believed to be accurate but are not guaranteed.
The auction company makes no guarantees regarding condition, completeness, functionality, authenticity, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Buyers are responsible for determining the condition and value of items prior to bidding.
Inspection
Inspection may be available prior to the auction closing. Buyers may contact the auction company through the auction platform to request a preview appointment if available.
Bidding
All bids are final.
By placing a bid, the bidder enters into a legally binding agreement to purchase the item if they are the winning bidder.
The auction uses a soft close format. If a bid is placed during the final moments of bidding, the closing time of that lot will automatically extend to allow additional bidding and ensure all bidders have a fair opportunity to compete and help prevent last-second bidding (“sniping”).
Pickup
Pickup is by scheduled appointment only.
Pickup Dates:

Pickup Location:
Salt Lake City, Utah (exact address will be provided to winning bidders)
Buyers will receive instructions for scheduling pickup after the auction closes.
Buyers must bring appropriate vehicles, equipment, and assistance necessary to remove their purchases.
Forklift assistance will be available for larger items.
Removal
Buyers are responsible for loading and removing all purchased items.
The auction company is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or damage that occur during the removal process.
Abandoned Items
Items not picked up within 10 days of the auction closing will be considered abandoned.
No refunds will be issued for abandoned items.
The auction company reserves the right to resell, donate, dispose of, or otherwise handle abandoned items at its discretion, and any proceeds from resale will be retained by the auction company.
Auctioneer Rights
The auction company reserves the right to:
• Withdraw any item from the auction
• Combine or divide lots
• Resolve bidding disputes
• Cancel or reopen bidding if necessary
The auctioneer’s decision shall be final.
Technology Disclaimer
The auction company is not responsible for missed bids due to internet issues, software errors, platform outages, or bidder technology problems.
Bidders are responsible for ensuring they place bids in a timely manner.
Agreement
By registering for this auction, bidders acknowledge that they have read and agree to all terms and conditions outlined above.
Failure to comply with these terms may result in cancellation of purchases and suspension of bidding privileges in future auctions.
