• When you register and get a bidder number online, you enter into a binding legal contract with Buyer’s Market Inc. Dba GCAS / Gary Clowser Auction Services.
• Registration requires your credit card information, which will be securely stored and charged shortly after the auction closes for any purchases you make. GCAS does not add extra convenience fees for credit or debit cards. Accepted cards are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
• All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS," whether listed individually, in lots, or groups, as described in the online catalog.
• A 10% buyer's premium is added to each lot purchased.
• Winning bidders will receive an invoice via email within 24 hours of the auction closing, showing the amount billed to their card.
• Bid increments are as follows: $1.00 to $9.99 — $1.00; $10.00 to $49.99 — $2.50; $50.00 to $99.99 — $5.00; $100.00 to $249.99 — $10.00; $250.00 and above — $25.00.
• The auction features staggered and soft-close mechanisms. Lots close one at a time every 8 seconds (“staggered close”). You can track the scheduled closing time next to each lot. If a bid is placed and confirmed during the final 180 seconds before a lot’s scheduled close, the timer extends by another 180 seconds (“soft close”). This process repeats until 180 seconds pass without a new bid.
• Purchases must be paid in full before removal from the auction site.
• Buyers are responsible for removing their purchases. All items must be picked up within the specified timeframe. Items not collected or arranged for within five days after the auction will be forfeited to GCAS and may be resold, with proceeds going to GCAS.
• Shipping is available for select small items marked “shipping available” and will be at the buyer’s expense. If you want your items shipped, mark that option when registering contact GCAS by email. There is a 10% packaging/handling fee, plus shipping charges. Once packaged and measured, your card will be charged, and you’ll receive an email detailing fees. GCAS is not responsible for shipping damage. Only U.S. addresses are accepted, and we ship via USPS.
• Bidders with poor payment or pickup records with HIBID or GCAS may lose bidding privileges.
All titled items must be paid in full before receiving the title. Buyers must take the title to the DMV and transfer ownership before removing the item from the auction site.
