Online Auction Terms and Conditions:
***THERE WILL NOT BE ANY EXCEPTIONS MADE TO THE TERMS STATED BELOW. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS UPON REGISTRATION FOR THE AUCTION*** INTERNET BUYERS PREMIUM OF 15% ON ALL MERCHANDISE.
The credit card used for registration will be charged following the auction. Exceptions may be made for alternate payment methods pending authorization by the auctioneer. If you are requesting an alternate payment option you must call ahead of time for approval or leave this information in "The Notes to The Auctioneer" at the time of registration. If alternative payment is approved, we accept cash, wire transfer or a separate credit card. Please note the 15% buyer's fee applies to all purchases regardless of payment method. A 7% State Sales tax will be applied to all sales unless you present a sales tax exemption form. The credit card that bidders select to use from their HiBid account at the time of registration will be authorized at that time. We accept Visa, MasterCard & Discover ONLY. Credit card chargebacks will not be accepted. Auction Company (e.g. Alas Artistry LLC) reserves the right to request a different form of payment (wire transfer or check) for larger amounts. Please note that the merchandise must be picked up during the specified pickup times on the specified date(s). There is no long term storage available. Buyers should bring their own moving personnel and equipment, if needed. If you would like to have your items shipped, please notify the auction company within 24 hours of close of auction. Small items only are available for shipping and are indicated as shippable in its description so please read each description detail in its entirety, and if shippable a $10 handling fee applies for all lots. Methods of shipment are solely at the discretion of Alas Artistry and we will make every effort to find the best shipping rates available. Please indicate if you have a shipping preference. Shipping cost is the sole responsibility of the buyer. If items are not picked up during the scheduled pick-up times and we are able to transport them, you will be charged $15.00 per lot for transportation back to our office. This only applies to smaller items; we cannot transport large items.
Transportation fees will not be charged if you are having your order shipped and have contacted us to make shipment arrangements. If you do not pick-up your items or if you fail to make arrangements for pick-up or shipping, your items will be disposed of or resold at our discretion. You forfeit your rights to these items, even though you have already been charged. No exceptions will be made! The buyer shall be responsible to Alas Artistry for any expenses of resale and collection and damages resulting from the resale. By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. All property is sold 'AS IS', and 'ALL SALES ARE FINAL'. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, authenticity, value or any other determinative factor. Alas Artistry may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the Internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall Alas Artistry be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall determine the true value of any lot. We Highly Encourage Attending Or Scheduling Inspections Before Bidding. All auctions are considered with reserve unless advertised as absolute.
Alas Artistry online auctions are timed events and all bidding will begin to close at specified times. Online Auctions feature a Soft Close. The Soft Close feature remains active until no further bids are received on an item within said items two-minute closing window. When a bid is placed in the final two minutes of an item closing, the auction bidding will automatically be extended two minutes from the time the bid was placed. For Example: If an auction is scheduled to begin closing lots at 6:00PM and a bid is received at 5:59PM, the close time on that lot will automatically extend two minutes. Items will close every fifteen seconds there after unless there is still active bidding on said item, in which case that specific items closing time will be extended the two minutes until all active bidding has ended. For Example: The second item will schedule to close at 6:00:15, the third item closes at 6:00:30 and so on and so forth until all items have closed.
Bidder agrees that this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Indiana and hereby grants sole jurisdiction and agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of a of subject matter jurisdiction located in Marion County, Indiana. Bidder agrees and grants that service of process on them may be obtained by mailing a certified letter, containing a summons, postage prepaid, to them at the address they provided to register. Should a dispute arise between Alas Artistry LLC and Bidder, Bidder waives any right to a trial or hearing and agrees to settle the dispute through binding arbitration in Marion County, Indiana. Bidders who bid from offsite understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. Alas Artistry LLC will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase. Alas Artistry LLC is providing Internet bidding as a service to the bidder. The bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the days of the auction. Under no circumstances shall bidder have any kind of claim against Alas Artistry LLC or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the auction. Alas Artistry LLC will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Alas Artistry LLC reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction. Buyers may be required to pay any applicable state and local sales tax unless you have a resale number on file with Alas Artistry LLC PRIOR TO THE SALE-NO EXCEPTIONS. Sales tax applies to the entire transaction including the buyer fee. In the event of failure of the online bidding system or other technical failure, Alas Artistry LLC reserves the right to cancel and/or reopen the auction. By registering for this auction, you give Alas Artistry LLC permission to add you to their mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time. We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Sorry, NO checks and NO American Express will be accepted. If your card is declined, you have around 3 days to pay your balance or your items will be forfeited, relisted, and sold. Declined credit cards will have a $5 fee added. There are NO refunds, returns, or exchanges. All items are sold AS IS. All sales are final.

Shipping / Pick Up
**Shipping is available for most items but there are some exceptions. Please review each lot’s information to determine if the item is excluded from being provided shipping service, and before placing your bid(s). You are responsible for paying all Shipping and Handling fees. We can work with you to determine best shipping options, shipping carrier and service.
**PICK-UP is available during the days/times listed on either Friday, October 10th between 10AM-4PM, Saturday October 11th between 11AM-5PM, and/or Monday, October 13th between 11AM-6PM. Alas Artistry LLC Auction Mgmt team is available via email or phone if you need to arrange your pickup time if your order includes bulky items. You may call us at (317) 967-5450 or email support@alasartistry.co to confirm your pick-up time. We are happy to gather your items together and can help carry merchandise to your vehicle, pending availability of our personnel - please call us to make arrangements. All items must be picked up within these three designated Auction pickup dates or your items will be forfeited, relisted and sold. Buyer accepts responsibility for ensuring pickup in a timely manner. Buyer accepts responsibility for ensuring all items on the invoice are loaded into the vehicle. There will be NO Refunds for the items that are Relisted and Sold. Buyer accepts responsibility for ensuring pick-up in a timely manner.
