This is an online-only auction. Lots will begin closing at 4:00 PM CST on Tuesday May 27th It is a staggered closing meaning not all lots close at once. There is also a soft close, so if someone bids in the last 2 minutes of an item closing, it will extend out another 2 minutes. You will need to sign up with a HiBid account and have a valid credit card required for bidding approval, but will have the option to pay with cash or good check. Please note this auction is for pick-up only, no shipping is offered without prior approval. There is 10% Buyers Premium that will be added to the final purchase price if paying with cash or check. If paying with credit card, there will be an additional 5% fee for use of card, so 15% buyers premium for payment by credit card. Sales Taxed Charged if Applicable. Acceptable payment methods are cash, good check (Letter of credit may be required if buyer is unknown to the auction company), wire transfer, or credit card with an additional 5% fee. *Invoices over $500 will require a wire transfer unless prior arrangements are made with the auction company* Auction company reserves the right to request a wire transfer for any payment if necessary. No Credit Card Purchases over $500, payment must be cash/good check or wire transfer. If you have been approved for shipping, a wire transfer may be requested for any amount. Winning bidders will be emailed a link to sign up for a scheduled pickup time. Time slots will be available on Wednesday May 28th and Thursday May 29th. All items must be picked up during the designated pick-up times that are stated. No items will be released until payment has been made in full. Items are located on ground level but bring your own help for loading if you are the winning bidder on larger pieces. Also bring any additional boxes or packing materials you may need. There is a chance that the notification emails will go to your junk or spam folder, so please check there if you do not receive an invoice! You will be contacted if you do not show up to pick up your items, but you are still responsible for paying for those items. If you have not been approved for shipping any items that are not picked up on those days, the card on file will be charged and they will be considered forfeited unless prior arrangements are made with the auction company. If you bid and requested shipping, but were not approved for shipping, you card will be charged and items considered forfeited unless the auctioneer agrees to ship the items. If you are the successful bidder on an item, an invoice will be sent to the email that you registered with. You will be sent a link to sign up for a scheduled time slot. If you are unable to pick up your items on one of the designated pickup days in the time frame stated, please do not bid! If items are not picked up, your card used to register will be charged & the items will be considered forfeited. No refunds will be issued for any reason. Preview will be on Friday May 23rd & Tuesday May 27th from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Sweeney Auction Center in Waukon, IA. Buyers are encouraged to inspect all items during this time. If a buyer is unable to attend the preview, they will have to rely on pictures to make their determination of condition and value of the items. All items are sold AS IS and it is up to the buyers to examine to the best of their ability. The auction company has done our best to describe the item and flaws or defects, but there is no warranties or guarantees on the items, expressed or implied and will not be held responsible for errors or omissions in descriptions. No returns, all sales are final. Buyer will not initiate chargebacks for any reason. Sweeney Auction Service reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction if necessary. The auction company reserves the right to decline bidders if necessary. Online only bidding is a service that is provided and bidders acknowledge and understand that it may not function properly. The auction company reserves the right to cancel, postpone or pause the auction if complications or circumstances out of our control occur. We will not be held responsible for any missed bids from the system, please consider using the max bid feature which allows your bid to be treated as absentee bid.
