By placing a bid, you agree to purchase the item if your bid is the highest at the end of the auction. • You cannot retract or cancel a bid once it has been placed. 3.3 Winning Bids: • If you win an auction, you are legally obligated to complete the purchase. Non-payment may result in account suspension and forfeiture of any deposits made. If you fail to pick up your wins or contact us for shipping, your credit card on file with HiBid will be charged, and you will forfeit the merchandise. • In the event of a tie bid, the bid that was placed first will be recognized as the winning bid. 3.4 Bid Increments: • Bid increments are predetermined and displayed on each auction page. Additional Policies 11.1 Auctioneer Discretion: • The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid at their discretion and determine the winning bid. 11.2 Auctioneer Authority: • The auctioneer has the authority to resolve disputes between bidders and make the final decision on any sale. 11.3 Proxy Bidding: • Proxy bidding is available, allowing bidders to set a maximum bid amount and let the system automatically place bids up to that amount on their behalf. 11.4 Buyer's Premium: • A straight buyer's premium of 15% will be added to the winning bid amount and is payable as part of the total purchase price. If picking up winning(s) and paying with cash, you can choose to spin our "Whirl of Fun" with whatever wedge it lands on, which will determine the percentage discount on your Buyer's Premium. There are ten wedges on the wheel, with two wedges providing a 2% discount, two wedges providing a 4% discount, two wedges providing a 6% discount, two wedges providing an 8% discount, one wedge providing a 100% discount on Buyer's Premium, and one wedge providing a 0% discount.
