Please read these conditions carefully.
By registering for our auction, you agree, on behalf of yourself and all members of your household and others who use any service under your account, to the following conditions. Whether this is your first auction, or you are an experienced bidder, please note the following terms prior to bidding in our auction.
Payments Credit Card: Immediately after the close of each auction we will process your payment method on file for any lots you have won. This will include a 15% buyer’s premium and applicable sales tax. You will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your paid invoice. HiBid gives you the option to store multiple cards in your profile. When registering for each auction you can select the card you would like to use the time of registration. For any cards that fail to process we will send an invoice that can be paid online or in-person. Your invoice will come from: af360-noreply@sandhills.com. If you do not receive an invoice, please check your junk/spam folder.
Cash Buyers: We allow cash payments on a limited basis solely at our discretion. If you prefer to pay cash, please notify us in advance so we do not attempt to charge your card. You can email us at service@phxauctionco.com. If you elect to pay cash and do not make the payment or pick up your item within the allotted pick-up times, your card on file will be charged on the last day of the scheduled pickups. Any misuse of the cash buyer payment option will result in the suspension of the bidder’s ability to pay with cash. We reserve the right to remove the ability to pay in cash for any lot at any time.
Item Descriptions at PHX Auction Co, we strive to provide accurate information for each lot in our auction. We inspect each item and sort them into one of the following categories: New Factory Sealed- A new item with no signs of use. All original manuals and hardware are present in intact bags, and cords have not been untied. Protective packaging is still in place, but there may be limited damage to the outside packaging. Factory sealed items are inspected by our staff and may be opened as part of the inspection. We use stock photos for items in this category unless otherwise noted. New Open Box- A new, unused item, possibly with slight wear due to handling. Original manuals may be missing, and hardware bags opened, but all parts are present. New open box items will generally be tested for function by our staff prior to listing on the auction. Unused retail returns and display models could fall into this category. We use stock photos for items in this category unless otherwise noted. New Cosmetic Blemish- A new, unused item, with obvious damage due to shipping or handling. The defect is not something that affects function or safety, and the item still works as intended. Items in this category would be classified as New Factory Sealed, or New Open Box if not for the defect. We make every effort to test products in this category to ensure function prior to listing. The listing for items in this category will include photos of the defect as well as a description of its condition. Used, Like-New- A retail return that was used prior to being returned. To qualify for this category an item must look new but have faint signs of use such as dirt in a vacuum cleaner. Original manuals may be missing, and hardware bags opened, but all parts are present. Items in this category are usually retail return that were used once and then returned. We will include photos on the listing for items in this category and provide a description of their condition. Used, Good- A retail return that shows obvious signs of consistent use. Items in this category are those that were used several times prior to being returned and show obvious wear. Some parts may be missing, which will be noted in the description and photos on the listing. Item still works as intended and every effort will be made to ensure functionality prior to listing. We will include photos on the listing for items in this category and provide a description of their condition.
Picking Up Your Items will be available for pickup at our warehouse located at 3120 W Thomas Rd, Suite 801, Phoenix, AZ 85017. We are available for pickups 2 days per week on the following schedule:
Friday, May 12th & Saturday, May 13th - 9:30am-3:30pm
All items that are not picked up by following Thursday following the auction at 3:30pm will be considered abandoned and are subject to disposal unless other arrangements have been made. A refund will NOT be issued for abandoned items. If you cannot pickup your items on the specified days, you must make alternate arrangements by emailing service@phxauctionco.com or call 480-494-1260 to discuss your options.
Shipping is NOT offered on all items. Shipping is determined by lot. If the lot is shippable it will say (Shipping Available) on the lot in the catalog under the time left until close. Please note, you may not want to ship all items, even if shipping is available for that lot. Some items, due to their size and weight, may not be economical to ship to your location. We do not offer refunds if you don't want to pay the shipping for a lot you have won. We charge a $5.00 handling fee for each item shipped. If the item is large (50lbs+) then we charge $20 handling fee for that item). We offer no returns or guarantees on any items that are shipped.
Refunds/Returns at PHX Auction Co we stand by our products. If we make an error and list an item incorrectly, either due to the misidentification of the item itself, or the omission of important details related to the item’s condition, we will provide a refund of the hammer price of the item and any applicable sales tax. We cannot under any circumstances refund the buyer’s premium collected on the item. Due to the nature of our business (high-volume and deep discounts), we don’t offer returns or refunds in any other circumstances. All sales are considered final, “as-is” and “where is”. All items have a 7-day guarantee against misrepresentation from the date of pickup.
Privacy
Just like you, we are not fans of junk mail and spam texts. We commit to only send you text and emails necessary to keep you informed about your bids and the progress of current and future auctions. By registering for our auction, you agree that we can send you text messages and emails.
Reserves: Occasionally a lot will have a reserve that will need to be met for it to be considered "Sold". If you are the highest bidder but the reserve was not met, it will not show up on your invoice.
STOP/Unsubscribe: If at any time you wish to stop receiving our text messages, reply STOP and you will be removed from the list. If you would no longer like to receive emails from HiBid you may make adjustments to your notification and communications settings in your HiBid account.
