Description
This sale has been a joy supporting this charming couple's move to the next phase of their lives. They have been so patient with me while I return to the business I love after my husband's death last year. THIS IS A TWO PART AUCTION Decisions are still underway as to what is moving with the couple. No date is set for Part Two of this auction. One thing I love about this sale is all the Blue and White, which my 30-something daughters tell me is on trend. And can we talk? The furniture! Oh, the furniture! All of the pieces are in excellent condition and are just to die for. The large 9 foot wide apothecary cabinet will be functional as well as be your statement piece. Who couldn't use that show stopper! And the Welsh Gaudy, I have seen this over the years at antique shows and said to myself, "that is nice." But after examing and photographing these pieces, I am in love! Another great piece is the Sheridan Field Canopy Bed. The homeowner told me the story that her mother took her down to a very prominent antique store in Houston to choose her bed. She picked this bed and has had it since. You will note that it has holes in the rails for the rope, which made a net for the mattress. In a way, this rope webbing was the first box spring. Starting my first home in the 1980s, when American Furniture became popular, I searched the country with my mother-in-law for rope beds in this condition. Never have I seen one so well preserved. I also found online a maker of crochet canopy lace. Go to Hand Tied Bedding Co on Etsy.com. I hope this will help you envision the Sheridan Field Bed for your daughter or granddaughter. You may enjoy bidding on a few items which are remnants of a sales held in 2020 from The Woodlands and Conroe. If you missed the the first time you have a second chance. ALL SALES ARE FINIAL Although what we sell is used, we are a business and must charge sales tax. If you have a tax-exempt status that you would like to use, please supply the proper paperwork to us before invoices are generated. Sales tax is 8.25% Alta Luna Estate Sales are charging a Buyer's premium of 13%. The location of pickup will be released after the auction closes. I will accept credit card payments for any charges over $300.00, which will require 2% service charge, which is half of the credit card cost. If you are the winning bidder, you agree to pay for the winning lot through CASH, Credit Card, and Venmo. Payment will be taken at time of pick up. Pick-up will be arranged on a lot-by-lot base, and the address will not be disclosed until after the sale closes. General location of pick up is in Conroe/The Woodlands area off 242 and interstate 45. You must bring your boxes, packing material, and people to help pack and pick up winnings. We will ship small items at the bidder's expense. Please let me know if you will need shipping before the close of the auction. If you need local movers, we can give you the name of a reputable company. Extra time is added when a bidder places a bid very close during the soft close, which allows all bidders a chance to win the item. Payment will be taken at time of pick up. we perfer Cash for this sale. We charge tax of 8.25% There is a buyer's premium add of 13%. If you win a lot but do not pick up at agreed time we will charge your credit card plus credit card fee and donate winning lots.
We will ship in the continental US only for small items and lots. But not on furniture or bulky items. Shipping Charges will incur and are the responsibility of the purchaser. If you need shipping, please text us before bidding at 281-797-8156 to confirm we can fill your request. Shipping is only available for small items shipped outside the Spring, Texas zip code (77381). Oversized items still require in-person pick-up, and you must bring your own muscle. If you need us to connect you with a local moving service, we can supply a name and meet them for pick up.
