Preview Date/Time Inspection: Auctioneers will be on site Thursday July 29 and Wednesday August 4 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm each day. You may also inspect the buildings and larger items at your leisure during business hours.
Checkout Date/Time Settlement and removal Friday August 6 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Bradeen Auction Facility 14 W. Mt Rushmore RD, Custer, SD after settlement you will proceed to the Former Star Academy 4 miles south of Custer on SD Hwy 385 to gather your won lots.

Former Star Academy - Custer SD LARGE SURPLUS LIQUIDATION AUCTION Online bidding closes Wednesday August 4, 2021, beginning at 4:00 pm Property located at the former South Dakota Star Academy, located 4 miles south of Custer SD on Hwy. 385 Selling at online public auction will be a wide variety of surplus buildings to be moved from the premises or salvaged, at the buyer's option, including several one and two story residences, several storage & utility buildings, and a large multi-use office/dormitory building. Also selling a wide variety of industrial equipment, water & wastewater treatment equipment, extensive electrical panels & controls, large generators & pumps, tools & shop items, several propane tanks, fire hydrants, chain link and security fencing, materials, and much more! Auctioneers note: The former South Dakota Star Academy has closed and is now in private ownership. The entire property and is being re-developed. This is phase 1 of liquidating and removing many of the structures and related equipment/furnishings. Inspection: Auctioneers will be on site Thursday July 29 and Wednesday August 4 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm each day. Skid steer loaders will be available Aug. 6 for removal of lighter items. Larger item removal with your equipment or contract with Neilson Construction (onsite). Upon proper settlement, purchaser has until 9:00 pm August 27, 2021 to remove items purchased from the premises.
