Checkout Date/Time	Following the close of the sale, you can expect a call from our office to collect payment. At this time, we will schedule pickup time with you. Pickup or shipping arrangements must be made no later than 7 calendar days after the close of the auction. Any items not picked up within this time frame will be charged a $5 per item per day storage fee. Once storage fees exceed the purchase price, or after 30 days (whatever comes first), items will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of. In other words, please pick up your items in a timely manner. We will be following NYS guidelines: observing proper social distancing and wearing protective masks, we expect that you do the same. Payments can be made over the phone by credit card or in person upon pickup.

1.At the discretion of Mapes Auctioneers & Appraisers, any invoice may be required to be paid by cash, postal money order, cashier’s check or wire transfer following the close of the auction. 2. At the discretion of Mapes Auctioneers & Appraisers, copy of photo ID may be required. 3.Returned (bounced) checks will incur a $25 charge. 4.Mapes Auctioneers & Appraisers will not ship to an address not listed on your HiBid account. 5.No Items are to be removed from the auction premises until they are paid for in full. 6.There is a 15% buyers premium in effect for this auction. 7.All bidders should be aware of their tax liabilities when bidding. All purchases in New York State will be subject to 8.00% sales tax, unless the purchaser has a New York State Sales Tax Exemption Number. Exemption numbers from other states are not valid in New York. A current New York Out-of-State Resale Certificate (OSR) must be provided for exemption. 8.Pickups are to be made by appointment. Buyer assumes responsibility to make arrangements with Mapes Auctioneers & Appraisers to pick up their item. If items are not picked up within 10 days of the close of the auction and alternate arrangements are not made, we reserve the right to consider these items abandoned property. It is YOUR responsibility to make pickup arrangements with us following the close of the auction. Pickup must be made by appointment no later than 7 calendar days after the close of the auction. Any items not picked up within this time frame will be charged a $5 per item per day storage fee. Once storage fees exceed the purchase price, or after 30 days (whatever comes first), items will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of. In other words, please pick up your items in a timely manner. We do not guarantee boxes, packing materials or folks to help load upon pickup. Please come prepared. SHIPPING - Shipping is available for most items at the buyer’s expense. In addition to postage fees, we charge a $10 MINIMUM packing fee. Estimates can be provided upon request.
