BIDDING STRATEGY: We recommend that bidders put in their maximum bid when placing an online bid. This does not mean you will have to pay the maximum amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next-highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. Using your maximum amount, the software places bids on your behalf based on the predefined increments until your maximum bid is reached. If two people place the same maximum bid, and that amount is the winning bid; the person that entered the maximum bid first will be the buyer. RESERVES: A few of the lots have a reasonable reserve. Bid on all items at your own discretion, based on your own judgement of the price you are willing to pay. BID INCREMENTS: Details can be found in the BID INCREMENTS section of the Auction Details. REVIEWING YOUR BIDS: You can check the status of your bids at any time during an auction. No bids can be withdrawn after the auction for any reason. BIDDER NOTIFICATOINS: You can choose to be notified by email during the auction if you have been outbid. 10 minutes before the auction closes, the volume of bidding may result in emails not reaching you quickly enough to react. It is recommended that you use the Live Catalog feature of the online auction to track your bidding status during this time. After the auction closes, you will be notified in approx 48 hrs. with a preliminary invoice if you are a successful bidder. SOFT CLOSE: To prevent a bidder from "sniping", all bids made in the last 2 minutes of the auction will force the lot to stay open for an additional 2 minutes. This will continue until bidding is ceased. WINNING NOTIFICATIONS: All winning bidders will receive an email with an attached --- PRELIMINARY INVOICE from jim_macmillan@hotmail.com within 48 Hrs. after the closing of the auction. If you want to know whether you won a lot at the close of the auction, check your "Bidder History" - if it says, "you will be notified", that means you are the high bidder. If you are not the high bidder, it will say "you have been outbid". When you receive the Preliminary Invoice, please do the following steps to speed up the payment, shipping, and pickup processes: 1.
