You must have all lighting, power tools and electrical items professionally safety inspected prior to use, for your own safety. Regardless of opinions expressed by owners and staff of Clarkson Auctions and Movers Inc., it is your responsibility as a bidder to determine condition, authenticity and value of the merchandise before bidding on an item. By placing a bid, bidder certifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to examine the item in person and purchase item anyway, no matter its condition, authenticity and value. See viewing times posted on front page of the auction. Clarkson Auctions & Movers Inc. reserves the right to reject any bid at their sole discretion. Clarkson Auctions & Movers Inc. reserve the right to cancel and/or reopen the auction in the case of system failures. All items must be paid for in full at auction conclusion by VISA or MasterCard. If you prefer Email Transfer, please contact us before auction closes. Money is due right when the auction closes. 10% buyers premium plus 13% HST (Ontario) tax will be applied to all purchases. You will be issued a receipt. All items must be picked up during the posted times advertised. If you purchase heavy items, please bring people who can load your items in to your vehicle. The viewing and pickup property, proprietors or staff are not liable for any damage or injury whatsoever caused to the public or their vehicle by any accident, incident or mishap to anyone attending any auction grounds. Delivery is available to you by us, please call for price (price depends on drop off location). Shipping is also available to you via Canada Post for small items. Bidder pays Canada Posts shipping fees plus $15 packaging / handling fee per package (and only $10 packaging / handling fee for jewelry only shipping). Shipping for high end or heavy items (including artwork) will include extra shipping and handling costs. This will be based on the shipping courier hired for transporting such high end or heavy items. Clarkson Auctions & Movers Inc. and Canada Post insurance does NOT cover any glass, china or other breakables that break during transportation to you. You are taking your own risk by requesting shipping on breakables (your money will not be refunded if something breaks). Any items not picked up or made delivery/shipping arrangements by the ending time on assigned pick up day will be considered abandoned and then eligible to be sold on another date.
