All terms, conditions and other announcements made day of sale take precedence over any other announcements, printed or otherwise. When the auctioneer's hammer falls (indicating a buyer's bid has been accepted and the item is considered sold to that buyer), that item belongs to the new owner. NOTE: Covington Realty & Auction is not responsible for items once the buyer's bid has been accepted. Not all items are sold "absolute." Some items are sold with "seller confirmation." If any dispute happens to arise during the bidding process, the auctioneer shall have absolute discretion to settle the dispute and may put the disputed item up for sale again. Covington Realty & Auction has full discretion to refuse any bid, divide any lot, combine any two or more lots and/or to withdraw any lot or lots from the sale. Covington Realty & Auction's agents, auctioneer, or personnel have the right to bid on any item being offered at auction. Covington Realty & Auction does not provide help loading/unloading purchased items. Please bring help! If an item is paid for, but not picked up within 30 days of auction date, Covington Realty & Auction reserves the right to resell the item for storage fees. If an item purchased online is not paid for within 24 hours (or next business day), Covington Realty & Auction reserves the right to list the item for sale online again. Any legal dispute and/or litigation that may arise between Covington Realty & Auction and a bidder/buyer shall be tried in a court of law. Bidder/buyer agrees to pay any and all reasonable attorney's fees and costs incurred by Covington Realty & Auction, the seller and/or their assigns, agents or personnel in the commencement or defense of any action hereunder, as well as in the collection of any obligation hereunder. Personal Property Terms: We accept cash, check or credit card. A 10% buyer's premium will be charged on cash and check purchases. Checks should be made payable to Covington Realty & Auction. Checks returned NSF (insufficient funds) will need to be made good, and a $35 return check fee will be charged. A 13% buyer's premium will be charged on credit/debit card purchases made on-site (not online). A 15% buyer's premium will be charged on online purchases (see below for additional online bidding information). The high bid price plus the buyer's premium will determine the total purchase price. A valid driver's license or government issued ID is required to bid. All items sold "as is, where is," with no warranties or guarantees. Sales tax will not be collected day of sale.
