This is an online only vintage collectibles auction at the former Automic Warehouse in Harrisburg PA to include artwork, mid-century lamps, vintage postcards, vintage greeting cards, sports cards, vintage lamp shades, vintage typewriters, decorative/collector plates, glass bottles, vintage percolators, vintage irons, glassware, china/pottery, Bakelite, and more!
Please read the following terms and conditions before bidding to familarize yourself with auction process: *All items sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. * There is a 10% buyers premium * All descriptions believed to be accurate but not warrented. While John Carl Auction Company does its best to inspect & describe items you the bidders are the experts in looking at items. * By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. *All Sales are final. You cannot backout of something you were the winning bidder on. *John Carl Auction Company reserves the right to bid on behalf of the seller to reserve price. *John Carl Auction Company reserves the right to reject any and all bids at any point. John Carl Auction Company also reserves the right to reopen any lots in the case of a dispute or system failure. No questions asked. *Once an online sale is complete you are responsible for the items unless a dispute of any kind occurs. *Once an auction ends you have till the Friday of the same week the sale closes to contact us to pick up or have your items shipped. Unless other arrangements are made, If your items are not picked up by the Friday the same week of the sale closing they become the property John Carl Auction Company regardless of payment or we may also choose to ship it to you at your cost. * We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. A 5% surcharge will be applied if paying with credit card. Cards automatically get charged at close of sale unless another options is agreed upon. You must tell John Carl Auction Company ahead of auction close if you are a cash buyer. No questions asked. *If you get item(s) shipped, you have 7 days from receiving the items to report damage on lots that was not noted on the catalog Shipping: *If you are getting your items shipped please allow about 1-2 weeks for delivery. Winning Bidders and Buyers will be responsible for paying all shipping, handling, postage, and insurance fees. *Used caution when opening packages. John Carl Aucion Company will not be responsible for any lost or damaged items during shipping. * There will be a 10% buyers premium plus a 5% surcharge with debit/credit card for payment. * We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express credit cards, and cash. A 5% surcharge will be applied if paying with credit card. Cards will be charged automatically after the sale is over. Starting March 1st 2020, we will no longer accept checks. If you are picking up and prefer to pay cash, let us know ahead of time by putting in comment at registration or emailing johncarlauction@gmail.com. TAX EXEMPT: If you are tax exempt and don't have a form on file, please call us at 717-618-9727 or email johncarlauction@gmail.com. We must have a tax exempt form with your license # filled out and signed before we can take tax off of your invoice(s). If you want the tax taken off on the current auction, you must have it filled out and sent to us before the auction ends. We will not refund tax on your invoice if you tell us after the auction ends that you are tax exempt. Once we receive the signed tax form, we will exclude tax from future auctions.
Shipping and pickup are available. Unless other arrangements are made, you have by Friday May 7th to pick up your items or arrange for shipping or you items become property of John Carl Auction Company regardless of payment. We may also choose to ship it also if we don't hear from you. Pickup Pickups are by appointment only by scheduling a pickup date/time through SignUpGenius. There will be a link in the email with the invoice after the sale is over. The dates/times to pickup are Monday May 3rd 10:00 to 4:00, Wednesday May 5th 10:00 to 6:00, and Friday May 7th 10:00 to 4:00. Pickup location is 1021 Market St. Harrisburg PA 17101. Items must be picked up by Friday May 7th. It is your responsiblity to make arrangements for pickup. Unless other arrangements are made, items not picked up by Friday May 7th will either be shipped at your cost or become property of John Carl Auction Company. We don't ship everything including furniture, larger items, and sometimes fragile items. If the lot is marked as "local pickup only" we will not ship it. You must make arrangements to pickup local larger items or have them delivered to you. For shipping, you are paying shipping cost, handling fee, and insurance costs. Once you pay for your items please allow about 1 -2 weeks for your items to ship. Winning Bidders and Buyers will be responsible for paying all shipping, handling, postage, and insurance fees.
