When you proceed to the registration page for the online auction, you are required to furnish your contact and credit card details. This information will be used to generate your invoice. Providing false information when registering, such as a false name, or fraudulent contact information can result in suspension, bannishment and/or legal action. Failure to honor winning bids will also have similar consequences. Please make sure you know what you are bidding on. BIDS CANNOT BE CANCELLED. All sales are final. In the event of duplicate bids, the Field bid take presedence. If the bid is tied between internet bidders, the earliest bid will be recognized. In the event of a dispute between two or more bidders, the item may be put back up for resale. Order of sale and bidding increments shall be at the sole discretion of the auctioneer. The auctioneer reserves the right to delete or add items at its discretion. The Auctioneer may open bidding on any item by placing a bid as an agent for any buyer or seller. Howell & Sons, Inc., may, at its sole discretion, change, modify or alter bidding procedures and conduct auctions, or cancel or postpone auctions, at any time including after beginning an auction. Auctioneer may, but will not be required to, continue, suspend, delay, extend, reschedule, or close the Auction because of disruptions caused by technology failures, even after bidding has commenced. Howell & Sons, Inc., may use an Online Auction Platform Provider to facilitate the Auction. Under no circumstances will Howell & Sons, Inc., be liable for any failure of the Online Auction Platform Provider to perform all or any of its obligations, or for the failure of any affiliates, employees, agents, representatives, or contractors of the Online Auction Platform Provider to perform their obligations. Immediately upon the conclusion of the bidding and an item is deemed SOLD, ownership shall pass to the Purchaser. Howell & Sons, Inc., shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any lot or item once the auction is concluded. Bidder is responsible to insure all purchased items immediately. Howell & Sons, Inc., may refuse any bidder registration privileges at any auction and/or refuse access to, or remove any person from an auction site for any reason including, without limitation, bid or item tampering, collusive bidding, violation of these terms or inappropriate behavior.
