There have been other rooms added on the main level, which have been used as office space, storage and a concessions / dining area. We walked downstairs into the lower level (basement) of the building on Wednesday, March 24th. Even though there has been rain in recent days, the entire lower level was perfectly DRY! This lower level was once the classrooms for the church. It is apparent in recent years the owners used these lower level rooms for storage. Counting the square footage of the lower level to the amount of the main level will put the total square footage over 7,000 square feet! The property is zoned Commercial The lot size is - 65' wide x 97' deep and sits on the corner of Church Street and College Street in downtown Centerville very near the old Courthouse Square. The actual outside dimensions of the structure are 87' deep x 57' wide! There is a partial basement / lower level. PROCEDURE: The property will be sold as a whole - Large brick building & corner lot DOWN PAYMENT: A 10% down payment of the total contract purchase price will be due immediately after being declared the buyer. The down payment may be paid in the form of personal check, business check, or cashier's check. The balance of the contract purchase price is due in cash at closing within 30 days. YOUR BIDDING IS NOT CONDITIONAL UPON FINANCING. ACCEPTANCE OF BID PRICES: The successful bidder will sign a purchase agreement immediately following the close of online bidding. The seller reserves the right to accept or reject the high bid.
