This auction includes vintage toys, steel tractors, premium coins, collectibles of many kinds, furniture and much more. Buyers will be picking up their purchases in Alexander, NY on Friday February 26th, 9am - 3pm. PREVIEW: There is no live preview for this auction. Some items may have damage and are sold as-is. MERCHANDISE PICK UP LOCATION/DATE: Alexander NY on Friday February 26th, 9am - 3pm by appointment only. Address will be shown to bidders when they confirm their appointment. SHIPPING: Bidders must contact the auction company to confirm that we will ship a specific item as shipping is available on select items only. We do not automatically ship every lot. Please call (585-343-4529) or email (todd@bontragerauction.com) to confirm that we will ship an item prior to bidding on it. We charge for materials and packaging time, and we do not ship to PO Boxes. We are unable to overnight express packages. Unusually fragile items (glass lamps, etc.) will be taken to UPS for professional packaging. Buyer pays shipping, insurance, signature confirmation and handling fee. (Handling fees depend on materials/time required). PAYMENT: At the close of the auction all payments will automatically be charged to the buyer's credit/debit card used at registration. MERCHANDISE PICK UP PROCEDURE: -Bring your own copy (paper or electronic) of your receipt. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure all items are loaded and in expected condition. Once the item leaves the premises, there will be no exchanges, returns, or refunds. -If you are unable to pick up on the scheduled date, please send someone in your place or kindly refrain from bidding in this auction. We are unable to accommodate multiple dates for pickup. There is a $20 charge, plus staff time, trucking fees, and storage for bringing items to our auction center from the auction location. Items not picked up on the scheduled date will be resold to cover our fees. -Customers will be assisted by appointment times for pickup. Sometimes it will be necessary for customers to enter the building to remove merchandise. Masks are required by NYS law, and the number of people in the building will be limited (by appointment time). Customers should come prepared to remove the items themselves and bring any assistance or tools they may need. Buyers who have bought large lots should make early appointments to allow for the time needed to load.
By bidding with our auction company, you are agreeing to the following. -All sales are final. Everything is sold "AS IS" with no guarantees unless otherwise stated by the auctioneer. It is the responsibility of the bidder to assure him or herself as to the condition of items prior to bidding. Condition reports given by the staff of Bontrager’s Auction Service are subjective, and while we strive to be honest, we will not be held responsible or liable for any errors in description. Buyer is responsible for examining items or obtaining adequate information about the item before bidding. Auction company does not take responsibility for buyer's failure to examine or obtain information. Merchandise is not subject to adjustments once the item has been sold. -Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service and its staff will not be held responsible or liable for any errors in absentee/left bids or phone bids, nor for the possible failure to execute left bids for any reason. -Payment is due in full within the time limits posted in the auction. For this auction, all payment will be made through the credit/debit card you provide when you register. We accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover. (Please note that while you may be able to register for our auction with any credit card, we will only accept Visa, MasterCard, or Discover for payment.) 13% buyer's premium and NYS sales tax added to all items purchased. Late payment will result in a $25 late fee. Buyers with declined credit cards must provide payment information at the following link: http://www.bontragerauction.com/payment-verification/ Credit/debit card payments will not be taken over the phone. -Additional Charges are as listed unless otherwise stated within the auction: -Failure to pick up auction purchases- $20. - Purchased items left at auction site- minimum $20 plus the cost of disposal. -Removal of purchases from auction site- $20 (large items such as vehilces, machinery, etc. will be subject to a $20 per hour removal fee. Storage at our auction facility- $10 per week. Packing materials needed at auction site: 50 cents per box. Packing/handling in preparation for shipping-$10-25 depending on size/weight/fragility of item. Transporting item to a shipping facility for professional packaging- $20. -By bidding with our auction you are entering into a contract with our terms and conditions. You are accepting responsibility to perform your duties as winning bidder, and agreeing that Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service, its employees, officers, owners, representatives, agents, and consignors will not be held liable for any losses, claims, liabilities, judgments, expenses, fees, or other damages arising from the use of our services, website, auction property, and this site, including property damage, injuries, dispute with another bidder, or breach by bidder of this site. Any liability to a purchaser will not exceed the purchase price actually paid. Failure of bidder to uphold the bidding agreement as described in the Auction Terms can result in suspension of bidding privileges at Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service. -Successful bidders will sign their receipt at the time of merchandise pick up indicating that all items are present and in satisfactory condition. No returns, refunds or exchanges will be issued after the merchandise leaves the pick up location. -Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service will not be held responsible for any interruption in internet service, errors, and/or omissions, caused by any means and does not guarantee continual, uninterrupted or error free service or use of the Site. By bidding with our company you are accepting that this auction is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. -Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service has the right to void any sale, suspend bidding, re-sell any item/lots for any other reason. -All sales are subject to appropriate sales tax and buyer's premium. Buyer's premium is 13% of purchase price and is subject to sales tax. -Bids cannot be retracted once the auction begins. -Buyers are responsible for making arrangement to pay for and pick up items within the time frames listed for the auction. Any variation, resulting in late pick up or payment will result in additional fees for removal and storage (see "Additional Fees" section). There is no delivery service for this auction. Bontrager’s Auction Service is not liable for any damage to property left on the auction premises after the auction, whether or not payment has been made. We reserve the right to impose a storage fee of $10 per month for property not picked up within stated deadlines. Merchandise left 1 month after the auction is subject to sale with the proceeds covering storage and auction fees due to the auction company. -In auctions where shipping is offered, buyer pays all shipping fees, including any tax or duty associated with shipping outside the USA. Handling charges range from $10 - $25 depending on the size/weight/fragility of the package, unless otherwise stated. -In the event of legal proceedings arising from this contract or from the auction in connection therewith, buyer consents to being subject to the personal jurisdiction of the courts of the State of New York, Genesee County. -For this auction, payment is by credit card only.

Payment Terms
-All payments charged to the credit/debit card used for registration, at the close of the auction. Please make sure it is up to date and is a valid form of payment. We accept Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. -Any customer who wishes to pay by cash or check must make arrangements with the auctioneer prior to bidding. Buyer's premium is 13% for all payment types (there is no discount). --If you need to adjust your credit card information in your profile, you will need to log on to HiBid.com, click on your name and go to Payment Methods. Scroll down and delete your payment method. Click on "add a payment method" and carefully type in your credit card information. Please make sure that your address matches the address to which the card is registered. -If your credit card is declined, please visit the following link to submit your payment information: http://www.bontragerauction.com/payment-verification/ To protect you, we are unable to take your credit card number over the phone.
SHIPPING: Bidders must contact the auction company to confirm that we will ship a specific item. We do not automatically ship every lot. For this auction, bidders wishing to have items shipped will pay a minimum $5 fee for transporting items from the auctino site to the packing/shipping area ($20 for more than 3 lots). Buyers who want shipping will be charged shipping and handling fees. Our handling/packing fees are based on the materials and labor that we supply and are affected by: The time and materials needed; whether transportation is needed to move the item to our packing site; size, weight, value of the item, and the distance it has to travel. We require signature confirmation and insurance on every package. We do not ship to PO Boxes. We do not overnight or expedite package delivery. Firearms will only be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensees (FFL). Note: Our auction software is used to determine the best shipping price because it allows us to compare prices and provide a discount. If the credit/debit card you have on file with Hibid.com isn't working, we are unable to do that and you'll be charged a higher rate. We are unable to ship extremel fragile/awkward items such as glass lamps and antique clocks- those items will be transported to UPS for a $20 fee and buyer will pay for professional packaging. MERCHANDISE PICK UP LOCATION/DATE: Alexander, NY on Friday, February 26, 2021 by appointment only between 9 AM and 3 PM. This is the only pickup date. Any other arrangements (late pickup, removal to our auction site, abandoned merchandise, etc., will result in additional fees for our staff time and mileage.) -Successful bidders are required to bring loading assistance, tools, and packing material. The auction crew is small and may not be able to assist. -You'll be assisted by your appointment time. If you arrive hours ahead of time, you may end up waiting to be assisted while we help those with current appointments. -NYS law requires face mask to be worn over the mouth and nose at the auction site. -There is only one day for removal and the auction crew many not have access to the building later, so please plan accordingly. There is a minimum $20 fee for late pickup and storage. In some cases, late pickup is not an option. If you are sick, please send someone else to pick up your items.
