1.No Items are to be removed from the auction premises until paid for in full. 2.There is a 15% flat buyers premium in effect for this auction. 3.Pickups are to be made by appointment. Buyer assumes responsibility to make arrangements with Mapes Auctioneers & Appraisers to pickup their item. If items are not picked up within 30 days of the close of the auction and alternate arrangements can not be made, we reserve the right to consider these items abandoned property. They will be resold or otherwise disposed of without compensation. 4.All bidders should be aware of their tax liabilities when bidding. All purchases in New York Sate will be subject to 8.00% sales tax, unless the purchaser has a New York State Sales Tax Exemption Number. Exemption numbers from other states are not valid in New York. A current New York Out-of-State Resale Certificate (OSR) must be provided for exemption. 5.Returned (bounced) checks incur a $25 dollar charge. 6.All items are sold in "as-is" condition with all of its faults, no warranty implied or intended. 7.All sales are final. There will be no refunds, replacements or exchanges. All items are made available to the buyer for inquiry and inspection prior to bidding. It is YOUR responsibility to make pickup arrangements with us following the close of the auction. We will be following NYS guidelines: observing proper social distancing and wearing protective masks. We expect that you do the same. If you are unable to pickup your purchase, shipping can be arranged at your expense. In addition to postage fees, we charge a $10 MINIMUM packing fee. Estimates can be provided upon request. We do not guarantee boxes, packing materials or folks to help load upon pickup. Please come prepared.
