Auction Notice:

Yearling bulls and mature bulls will have multiple lots and each group's lots will be linked, giving buyers an opportunity to purchse all the bulls or all the heifers if they choose. Any bidding on any of the lots during the final minute will extend the bidding on all linked lots for an additional minute.

Once you bid, you will be legally bound by the following terms and conditions.</b> Auction closes at 10 am CDT on Monday, October 21, 2019 NACHUSA GRASSLANDS Established in 1986, The Nature Conservancy (TNC) has, to date, protected more than 3,500 acres at Nachusa Grasslands. In October of 2014, 30 bison were introduced to Nachusa Grasslands. Today, more than 100 bison roam 1,500 acres of rolling land. These TNC bison descended from the herd at Wind Cave National Park in South Dakota. A long-standing partnership between TNC and the National Park Service conserves the genetics of these animals, which have been tested to show no traces of cattle genes. OFFERING APPROXIMATELY: (15) Yearling Bulls (10) OCV Yearling Heifers (3) Two Year Old Bulls (4) Four Year Old Bulls (7) Five Year Old Bulls (1) Six Year Old Bull All of the animals were worked the week of October 14. Ownership and complete responsibility of the sold animals transfers to buyer upon the, (1) payment by Buyer, and (2) loading of animals on buyer's trailer. TNC will use reasonable efforts to ensure healthy and sound bison, however, TNC sells the Bison to Buyer AS IS and WITH ALL FAULTS. No warranties for any purpose whatsoever regarding the condition of the Bison are implied in this transaction, including without limitation, value, merchantability, profitability, marketability, and fitness for a particular purpose. TNC assumes no liability for loss or damage to any personal property or equipment of Buyer or Buyer's employees, agents or subcontractors. Buyer is responsible to transport bison in adequate trailer, providing for the safety and welfare of animals during transportation.
