Description
Jake Clark's Mule Days works to bring buyers the quality they expect in a mule. We emphasize to the consignors to bring gentle and great using mules, communicate with buyers exactly what their mules are, and for the buyers to do their homework all week long while mules are being previewed at Mule Days as to find the correct fit for them. If you can't make the event, be sure to call and/or email the consignors plenty to know what you are purchasing and that the animal will fit your needs. www.saddlemule.com Enjoy!
PRIVATE SALES: Absolutely no private sales in the yards before and/or after the auction. Management feels this is unfair to the buyers who are in the bleachers. All mules brought to the sale must be consigned and go through our auction ring. After the Sale, we continue to try to sell the mules and will post them to Facebook and other area's to let potential buyers know what mules are still available.  We do leave it up to the integrity of the seller to forward any commission on horses that go through the ring as no sales, but are sold because of the advertising and efforts of the Cody Horse Sale.  We work hard to do right for both our buyers and our consignors and want to thank those consignors and buyers that possess the integrity to know that we have done a great job and will pay us according to their contract. GUARANTEE: Each Mule will be guaranteed sound by the seller.  If the mule is not considered sound, the buyer has until Tuesday following the Auction, at noon to have Jake Clark and Jake's veterinarian inspect the mule.  Jake Clark will make the determination as to soundness of the mule.  If the mule is considered unsound, the buyer will be returned his purchase price, less fees.  The seller of an unsound mule will not be paid for the mule, but will be responsible for any fees in conjunction with sale fees.  The buyer(s) will also be responsible to pick up his/her mule by Tuesday following the Auction, at 5 p.m. or a daily stall and feed fee will be due.  Each consignor will be totally responsible for other guarantees they make on their animals. The guarantees of each animal will be made only from the auction block while the animal is being sold. Absolutely no guarantee or warranty will be expressed or implied by the auctioneers or ring men. SOUNDNESS does not guarantee a vet check. If the buyer wishes to have a vet check prior to the Sale, please contact the consignor and make arrangements with a vet near by. Auction Soundness Guarantee is: See out of both eyes clearly and correctly Will be correct in the air Will not crib Will beat on all 4 feet soundly WARRANTY: The buyer assumes full ownership and responsibility of the animal from the time it is sold in the Auction ring and is responsible for proper feed and care.
