This is a one time equipment liquidation sale of game worn helmets from the 2016-2017 Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs inaugural season. Bidding for each lot starts at $50.00 You must register for each auction, even if you have participated before. TERMS: Cash, check or bank card accepted. Payment will be collected at time of pick up at The Railyard Dawgs Offices the week of Monday, August 28th - Friday, September 1st. If you need shipping, you will need to call the Offices of The Roanoke Railyard Dawgs and make arrangements. Shipping will be at buyer's expense. 540-344-3294. There are no inspection of merchandise and you agree to purchase "AS-IS". Lots in this auction do not all close at the same time. Bidders may bid up to the last minute. However, be advised that if a bid is placed at the last minute, the auction on that particular item will be extended. WE HIGHLY SUGGEST that you use the Max Bid feature. This will allow you to make a one time bid for the most you would be willing to pay for that item and the system will automatically bid for you. The system WILL NOT bid the entire amount but rather in increments as other bidders place their bids. EXAMPLE: Let's say you are willing to pay $1,000.00 for an item. You place your Max Bid for $1,000.00. At the conclusion of the bidding, if a competitor has bid $695.00, the system software will bid FOR YOU $700.00 and if there are no other bids, you will have won the item for $700.00. Consequently, if your competitor bids $1,005.00, you will be out of the running as you have only authorized a Max Bid of $1,000.00. ALL IS NOT LOST as you may adjust your bidding strategy by increasing your bid by using the Max Bid feature again. This will make more sense as you get into the meat and potatoes of bidding.
