Lead Old 19C Silk Embroidery Pied Piper Mary and Lambs
Description
Oval 19C Silk Needlework Embroidery of Pied Piper with Mary and Lambs. The early silk embroidery is housed in a gold frame with eglomise glass, black with gilt highlights. Signed in gilt lower left, Work'd by M. A. Nugent. In good condition the embroidery measures 16 inches high by 13.2 inches wide frame measures 21 inches high by 17.5 inches wide and has some loss on the frame edge.
