Description
American 19C Puppy with Slipper Folk Art Pastel Drawing. The 19th century an unsigned pastel drawing -with crisp, exacting fine lines throughout. The dog’s face, hair, flowers on the slippers, etc. are bright and not smudged. The colorful drawing has been protected and housed within a glass frame. Stamp on reverse N.S.Sabell. The drawing is from the the estate of S.T. Preston - Greenport, New York the area’s famous ship and marine outfitter. In good condition. Measures 13 inches high by 17 inches wide The original frame measures 18 inches high by 24 inches wide.
