"As a printmaker, writer and retired Landscape Architect, I have spent my life in appreciation of the natural landscape and have continually worked to interpret that appreciation to others. I would characterize my artwork as traditional, regionalist images utilizing contemporary printmaking and mixed-media techniques. I create my prints from hand-drawn original art, which is then used to prepare the photo-polymer printing plate. I hand ink, pull an edition of prints from that plate, and then paint each print with watercolor. The resulting original prints are uniquely my own interpretation of the American landscape." Retirement brought him to printmaking through his collection of Prairie Printmakers' work. He developed his original mixed media style using polymer relief plates and watercolor washes.
