Our auction is local, friendly and honest. It's ran a lot like eBay. The easy way is to register (no fee or card needed) take your time, look through the items and click "watch" on the items you're interested in. Then come back and put a high bid of what you would pay ($20). If you're the first bidder and the starting price is $5, then that's what your bid will show and you may win it at that price. Go about your business and when the auction is over, we'll contact you with a list of your winnings. The fun way is to watch it as it closes. Right before 6:30PM on Thursday night a colored heading will come across the top of the auction. It is asking you if you wish to watch it "live." This is the fun way. 12 items will show up across the screen with photos, how long until they end and the price it's at. Makes it very easy for you to follow what is about to end. You can even experiment and click one of the buttons at the top of the page and it makes the photos only of items you've placed on your watch list or that you've bidded on. Makes it feel much more like a real auction. Watch out for the 2 minute soft closes. If someone places a last second bid on an item an extra 2 minutes will be added to only that item. It allows the other bidders to bid higher, just like a real auction. That's the one thing that is different about ours and eBay. You can't Snipe ours.
