Description
Proceeds from the online auction will benefit the Riley County 4-H Foundation. The Riley County 4-H Foundation supports 4-H events and activities for local youth. Last year, donors helped to: * Provide awards and recognition for more than 150 youth and volunteers. * Make 4-H camp at Rock Springs possible for 128 campers and 18 counselors. * Provide scholarships for youth to attend the Kansas Youth Leadership Forum, Citizenship in Action, and Discovery Days—all statewide activities aimed at developing member’s leadership and citizenship skills. * Give four $1000 college scholarships to graduating 4-H members. * Assist the 4-H Ambassadors in their efforts to promote 4-H. * Support 4-H School Enrichment programs which reach more than 1,500 school-aged youth with science-based programs such as Wheat Science, Chick Embryology and E.A.R.T.H. * Provide support for 25 youth to participate in state and national level judging contests. * Supported a youth delegate to National 4-H Conference and National 4-H Congress.
Payments will be made directly to Riley County 4-H Foundation. Credit cards will be accepted with a small convenience fee. At the conclusion a representative of the auction or foundation will contact you about finalizing payment. Pick up of items will occur at the Riley County Extension Office. Any buyer wishing to have their item shipped will incur all shipping charges. Some items cannot and will not be able to be shipped due to being fragile (dishes, artwork, desserts). Payments accepted will be check (made payable to Riley County 4-H Foundation), cash (hand delivered) or credit card (you will be contacted at conclusion of auction with confirmation information). Small convenience fee will be added to credit card purchases.
Minimal items will be shipped and that would be at buyers expense. Fragile items such as dishes, artwork and food items will not be shipped. Everything will be picked up at Riley County Extension Office.
