7th Annual Le Concours de Livingston Featured Artist Alexander Buchan Le Concours de Livingston is proud to announce Alexander Buchan as our 2017 Featured Artist. Alex creates sculptures in wood and bronze using techniques greatly influenced by the methods he learned while working for General Motors. He tries to design and create new sculptures with emotion, excitement and speed. Each new piece must tell a story and draw viewers into that story. His goal is to tell the history of the automobile in bronze with all the excitement that was experienced in the early years of racing. A professional 5 -7 piece group that specializes in your favorite tunes from the past.... "Paradise" will perform music that ranges from artists like Doobie Brothers, Elvis, Clapton, The Beatles, Jimmy Buffet, The Temptations, Adele, Van Morrison, Eagles, B52's, ... from Oldies to Classic Rock to Motown to Country. They thoroughly enjoy what they do and hope you will also! Benefitting Love INC The Le Concours de Livingston, benefitting Love in the Name of Christ of the Greater Livingston Area, debuted in 2011. Over the years the event has raised thousands of dollars, which allows support of the many service ministries of our 62 partner churches throughout the county. We work together to assist in meeting the basic needs of families and individuals in Livingston County. With generous support of the Le Concours de Livingston event attendees, sponsors, and individual donors, the funds raised have made a difference for more than 4,700 adults and 2,600 children each year.
