Checkout Date/Time Check out will be available during and after the auction. Items won by online bidders must be paid in full within 2 business days of receiving invoice. Winning Bidders will receive an invoice by email within 12 hours of the auction closing. Taxes: Residents of Texas will be charged 8.25% sales tax when applicable. Payment of your Auction Invoice Unless prior arrangements for payment have been specified to the auctioneer prior to bidding. The card on file will be charged for total purchases under $1500. For purchases totaling more than $1500 a $500 deposit will be charged and we will contact you in regards to how you would like to pay the remaining balance. Shipping & Pickups: We have several options for you to choose from when it comes to getting your items picked up or delivered. We do expect all items to be removed from the gallery within 10 Days of purchase. Items left at the gallery longer than 10 days will incur storage charges. Storage charges are $20 per day and will be calculated and invoiced until pickup or shipping arrangements have been made. Any unpaid storage charges will need to be settled before items can be removed. Items left for more than 3 weeks at the gallery with unpaid storage charges may become the property of the gallery and be re-auctioned to recover storage fees. Kasper’s would happy to pack and ship your items for you for an extra handling charge plus shipping. We can also help you with coordinating the delivery of your purchases via a 3rd party shipper. As always buyer’s may pick up their items at our gallery during our regular business hours. Kasper’s can handle your shipping and packaging! We ship items via USPS and UPS. We charge a 10% Packaging and Handling fee (that’s 10% of the cost of shipping) on top of the calculated shipping rate in order to cover our shipping cost. There is a minimum charge of $15 for all Packaging and Handling with a maximum charge of $100 for Packaging and Handling. All items must be shipped to the same address as the credit card used to pay. If you will require shipping to a different address from the one that you signed up with, please contact us immediately. We will combine shipping on lots when possible. Our Packaging and Handing fees are charged so that we can cover the cost of packing materials and labor. We do this so that we can continue to bring you the most convenient shipping options available for your purchases. Large pieces of furniture or items too large to ship via UPS will need to be picked up or the buyer will need to contact a 3rd party freight carrier such as Uship. All items must be removed from the auction house within 10 days of purchase to avoid storage charges. Buyers are always welcome to pick up their items at the Auction Gallery during our regular business hours or use the services of a 3rd party shipping agent. If items are not paid in full within 10 business days of auction they may be re-auctioned and any deposits made will be forfeited. You may still be responsible for any amount of your original bid that is not recovered in the re-auctioning of the lot. You will be blocked from bidding in any other auctions until funds are recovered. Repeated offenses will result in a permanent ban from bidding. Once an item is called sold it will immediately become the responsibility of the buyer. Kasper’s cannot be held liable for any damage or theft of the item. If Kasper’s is shipping your item for you by USPS or UPS, you will be required to pay for insurance on the shipping. Should damage occur during shipping you will need to contact the shipper to make a claim. The auctioneer conducting this auction is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, P.O. Box 12157, Austin, Texas, 512-463-6599 and protected through a recovery fund administered by this department. Any unresolved complaint can be directed to this department. All disputes that may arise by virtue of and/or under the contractual relationship by and between the parties to this agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. The venue of any legal action that may arise between the parties to these agreements and/or the auction proceedings conducted by Kasper Auction Co. will be in Travis County, Texas. Any cause of action and/or suit of any kind arising between the parties hereto (to include auctioneer, auction company, consignor or purchasers of goods at auction) must be commenced within one (1) year from the date the cause of action accrues or it will be forever barred. The right of action or suit will accrue and the one (1) year limitation period will begin to run, on the date of the breach, damage or injury is sustained and not when the resulting cost, damage, harm or loss is discovered.
