Up for absolute auction are 74 lots from the Truman Rice Estate of Princeton, IN. Truman had a very nice collection of clocks that will be a liquidation and ONLINE ONLY. Bidding begins on Tuesday, May 9 @ 8 PM EST (7 PM CST) and ends on Tuesday, May 30 @ 8 PM EST (7 PM CST) with a SOFT CLOSE. Soft close is defined as bidding closes when 4 minutes have passed without a bid after the above posted closed time.

BY BIDDING ON THIS AUCTION, BUYER AGREES TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH AND ENTERS INTO A CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE THE ITEMS(S) UNDER THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS: General Terms of the Auction: Information is subject to change. All lots are sold as is, where is, with all faults, imperfections and errors of description. Due diligence is the responsibility of the bidder/buyer. All sales are final. All statements made prior to the sale of any item take precedence over written material and any prior verbal statements. Stroud’s Auction Service is not responsible for accidents, thefts, errors or omissions. 1. Printed statements or descriptions by staff are provided in good faith and are matters of opinion. Bidders are encouraged to attend the scheduled PREVIEW DAY Thursday, May 25 from 4 PM to 7 PM EST (3 to 6 PM CST) 2. Buyer’s Premium & Sales Tax: There is a 10% buyer’s premium added to your total purchase. Please factor this into your bidding online. Sales tax will be collected on the total, if applicable, at a rate of 7% per Indiana sales tax laws. An updated tax exempt form copy must be given to the cashier before sales tax can be exempt. 3. Registration: In order to better serve our customers, all bidders must provide their name, address, daytime phone number, and email address at which they can be contacted. This is to insure good communication between Stroud’s Auction Service, LLC and the bidder throughout any transactions. We also require you to register with a credit/debit card. The card information is kept confidential and is not automatically charged when you are a successful bidder. Credit card information is simply used to verify your persoanl information. Stroud’s Auction Service, LLC reserves the right to preclude any person from bidding if there is any question as to the person’s credentials, mental fitness, etc. Bidders agree to keep their username and password confidential as they are responsible for ANY and ALL activity involving their account. If the registered bidder’s user name is offensive to Stroud’s Auction Service, LLC or in their sole opinion detrimental to Bidding Activity, then Stroud’s Auction Service, LLC reserves the right to delete the bidder from bidding or unilaterally change the username with notification to the Bidder. When using the web site you must obey any and all local state and federal laws. Violations will result in termination of web site use privileges. 4. Payments: For this auction we will accept cash, cashier’s checks, or Paypal for credit cards. If the buyer chooses to pay by Paypal, there will be an additional 3% buyer's premium applied. There is no additional buyer's premium if payment is made with cash or cashier’s check. Any transaction necessary to collect insufficient funds will have a $35 fee imposed. If you are a successful bidder, you will receive an email detailing the date(s) and location where you may pick up your items. At that time you may choose to pay for your purchase using Paypal or pay by cash or cashier’s check upon pickup. All successful bidders using PAYPAL may pay in advance once they receive their invoice. All successful bidders using cash and cashier’s checks can bring the funds the day they pickup. 5. It is the buyer’s responsibility to preview their purchases and their condition on preview days before bidding, as they enter a binding contract after bidding. 6. Pickup days are Thursday, June 1 from 4 PM to 7 PM EST (3 PM to 6 PM CST) and Friday, June 2 from 4 PM to 7 PM EST (3 PM to 6 PM CST). Any lot not paid for and picked up or arrangements to pickup by the close of the second pickup day will require a 20% penalty added to the final sale and reflect also on the buyer’s premium. On large clocks it is the buyers responsibility to provide their own help for loading. No assistance will be provided. 7. There are no shipping options provided by Stroud’s Auction Service, LLC for this auction. Pickup or shipping arrangements are to be made by the successful bidder. 8. Unpaid Balances: The purchaser agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred by Stroud’s Auction Service, LLC in the collection of funds. The purchaser also agrees that a fee of 5% per month be added to the balance of any unpaid balance due Stroud’s Auction Service, LLC and any other costs or losses incurred by the purchaser’s failure to adhere to these terms. Any debt collection or dispute proceedings will be heard in Harrison County, Indiana. 9. Technical Issues: In the event there are technical difficulties related to the server, software, internet or any other online auction-related technologies, Stroud’s Auction Service, LLC reserves the right to extend bidding, continue the bidding or close the bidding. Neither the company providing the software, nor Stroud’s Auction Service, LLC, shall be held responsible for the failure of the software to function properly for any reason.
